Play this Bingo Icebreaker at your women's retreat or ministry event!
Have you ever been at a women's retreat or any small group gathering where you didn't know everyone there?
Or maybe you knew them but not well enough to be comfortable with them? I certainly have, and it can feel awkward!
That's why having an activity like this bingo icebreaker can help. You'll find all the directions you need here, plus at the bottom of the post you'll find a direct download link for the free set of cards!
The Get to Know You Bingo Icebreaker works well to get the ladies out of their seats and interacting with each other. Typically, like with any good icebreaker, everyone is laughing and feels a little bit more of a connection when it's over.
Directions for the Get to Know You Bingo Icebreaker
-distribute a bingo card to each participant. You can download and make copies of the free set below.
-instruct them to find someone who matches a trait on your card and have the person sign the space
*NOTE: it's best to only allow one person per space but that can depend on the number of retreat participants. Adjust the limit to one person to 2 or 3 spaces as needed, but you want to ensure no one fills out an entire card for someone else. That defeats the purpose of interacting with multiple people. I've had someone try it. From then on, I learned to limit spaces. *smile*
-set a timer for 15 minutes and let the fun begin
-whoever gets a bingo (5 in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins a prize. Check out the post 30 Most Popular Door Prizes for ideas.
